Ajay Srinivasan comes with extensive experience in the financial services industry. In his previous role, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL). Under his leadership, ABCL has transformed into a universal financial solutions provider, focusing on the protecting, investing, and financing needs of customers.

Before joining ABCL in 2007, Ajay held several senior leadership roles in various global financial firms. He was the Chief Executive – Fund Management, Asia, for Prudential Corporation Asia, based in Hong Kong, where he oversaw total funds under management of about USD 70 billion across 10 countries. He also played a key role in developing Prudential’s retirement business in Asia. Prior to his role at Prudential, Ajay was Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for the India operations of ITC Threadneedle Asset Management.

Ajay’s experience in the financial services industry spans more than three decades. He holds a B.A. with Honours in Economics from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Ajay is engaged with several bodies, including the CII and is a member of the Advisory Board of the City of London. In his free time, he enjoys writing.
